South America is BEAUTIFUL!! Some of the highlights so far have been:
1. The Sanblas archipelago off the coast of Panama.
2. Meat on a stick with hot sauce.
3. A cold shower after being on a boat in the ocean for 6 days.
4. Cartagena
5. Colombian Coffee
The entire trip has been a blast so far & there is more to look forward to. In the next week or so the tenative plan is to head for Santa Marta to do a 5-6 day hike to some ruins. See Taganga, the Tayrona National Park, & head for Bogata around the 11th or 12th.

Go POKES! First game is this weekend. We'll yell extra loud for you guys! The pic looks fantabulous! Keep them coming. Glad to see that you at least got wet during the 6 days without a shower. I hope you are keeping a journal about where you are, places you stay,what you eat, funny things, poignant things, ironic things, etc. Such an adventure!

Hi Jason! Great to talk to you earlier! You are having too much fun...good for you. I checked out a few flights. From Lima, Peru on Dec. 19=$775 ($1,012 with tax, and add $50 more for trip insur.) From Buenos Aires, $1417, didn't check on tax or insurance. I will check on Skype and a web cam - would love to "See" you guys! Enjoy the National Park!
